Time tracked on the job.
Straight onto the invoice.

“We weren’t tracking time, and things were getting missed when we put invoices together. Now we can pull time straight from the job onto the invoice. It’s been a big help.”

Notes from the field.
Ready for the office.

Leave a note while the work is fresh. When the office opens the job, the details are there for the next conversation.

Doing both? It’s there when you’re back at the desk, too.

Off paper tickets.
Ready to add technicians.

“Before Stride, every job ran on pen and paper, and too much of it lived in our heads. Now our techs put their time and receipts on the job, so accounting isn’t hunting down receipts or sorting out which account to bill. We see every job under the status names we use, and we feel confident adding more technicians.”

Another line of work? Choose from all 45 trades

Stride fits when

  • You run one business from one location, with anyone from just you to about fifteen people.
  • Your day is jobs, visits and invoices, in electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, or similar trades.
  • You want the field and the office looking at the same record without a long rollout.

Look elsewhere for now if

  • You run several locations or franchise units under one account.
  • You need an answering service or AI to take your calls.
  • You depend on high-volume route optimization to coordinate 20–30 stops per crew each day.

We would rather say so here than in week two of your trial.

Start with one job.
Build from there.

After you create your account, the setup guide takes you through three steps. You don’t have to move the whole business over on day one.

  1. Set the basics.

Your business details, working hours, and the people who’ll do the work.

  2. Bring a familiar job.

Add the customer, their contact and address, and what needs doing.

  3. Give it a place in the day.

Choose a time and who’s going. Your first visit has a spot on the calendar.

Sample visit scheduled for Tuesday, 9:00–10:00 AM. Kitchen faucet repair, Jordan Ellis, assigned to Alex Rivera.

Two hours of onboarding, with every plan.

Book them when you want them. We’ll walk through the setup with you, using the way your business works.

Ask about onboarding

Your customers and jobs come with you.

Send us what you have and we bring it in during onboarding, or use the import tools yourself. Nothing gets retyped.

How that works

Questions owners ask
before they switch.

A new tool should fit the way you work. Here are a few practical answers before you get started.

Can I try it before choosing a plan?

Yes. Try Stride for 14 days without a credit card. At the end you choose a plan and confirm payment yourself; nothing is charged automatically. Compare plans and pricing.

Do I need to install anything?

Stride runs in your web browser. Sign in on your phone at the job and on your computer at the desk to work with the same job records.

Do I have to move everything over at once?

No. Set up your business basics, add a customer, and try a familiar job. You can learn the flow before bringing more of your work into Stride.

Will someone help me get started?

Yes. Both plans include 2 hours of onboarding. We’ll walk through your setup with you and help you get comfortable using Stride for your work.

Can I bring my existing customers and jobs over?

Yes, two ways. Send us what you have, whether that’s a customer list, open jobs, or an export from your current system, and we bring it into Stride as part of your onboarding. Or use the import tools in Stride yourself: upload a customer CSV, match the columns, review the records, save.

What should my file look like?

Use a CSV file up to 1 MB and 1,000 rows. There’s a template in the import screen. If your list is in Excel, save it as a CSV first.

The import adds new customers. Existing or ambiguous records are skipped so they aren’t overwritten.

What happens to my data if I leave?

You can export selected customer contact details as a CSV. Account owners can request account closure and deletion. Some records and backup copies may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.

Try it on a real job.

Create your account, add one customer, and put one visit on the calendar. That is enough to know.
